CHARACTER CREATION SHEET

First things first. The Richmond High RPG is no longer accepting characters who are brand new to the school, or the town of Ridgefield. That does not mean that we are not accepting character applications, only that any character submitted must have it stated that they have been at Richmond High School since the beginning of their Senior Year. Though you may consider this to be limiting, we feel that given that we are already over half way through Senior Year, it is unrealistic that a Senior would transfer into a new school. To help you understand what has happened at Richmond High prior to your joining, we have created the Richmond High Timeline. By creating an established character you will also open yourself up to having established friendships within the game. Feel free, once your profile has been approved, to contact members or the OOC Board in regards to character connections.

Please go through and delete the explanations, (all that which is in brackets like this) as you create your profile. If you have any questions at all, you need to only contact the Moderators of Richmond High, and we will be more than happy to help you out. Character Pictures must be included when submitting a profile, and keep in mind that Anime, sketches, or personal photographs will not be acceptable.

All Characters do require approval before they can be played, this is merely to make sure that we don't have any double ups (i.e. Names, Celebrity Look etc) or other minor problems before you get started on Richmond High. If you need some ideas for a pic to use, why not look in our Unused Celebs section - or alternatively - if you would like to see which celebrities are used, see the Taken Celebrities section. When you have completed your character, please send it to the Owners Address for approval by the Mods & Owners. Once your characters has been approved and added to the Richmond High Website, you may begin playing on the RPG Board.

The Owners & Moderators would also like you to understand that with a game this large, we are very insistent on detail with all characters. It may take several days to get you integrated into the game, and we may very well ask you to expand on certain areas if we feel that you have not given us enough detail. We feel that is the only way for us to maintain a level of quality control. We thank you ahead of time for your patience and understanding.

For more help in character creation, please refer to The Guide: The New Members Handbook, or if you are wanting to create a wealthy character, we suggest you get some hints and tips, from our Socialite How-To page.

Character Information:

Full Name: (First & Last Name - Include Middle Names if applicable. There can be no repeat of names on Richmond High RPG, so if you know there is already a Chris, then please do not call your character Chris. This goes for last names as well. Middle names can be repeated.)

Nickname(s): (Self explanatory. Repeated Nicknames are fine.)

Age: (Self explanatory. If your character has repeated a year, or gone up a grade, keep that in mind.)

Grade: Senior (Seniors Only. Please also be aware that any new character must have been at Richmond High since the beginning of their Senior Year. To learn about game history, please see the Richmond High Timeline.)

Birthday: (Just the month and date will be fine. The year will be removed from this section as time in the game is ever changing. We do not play a specific year, we merely follow a time line and allow the pop culture references to roll over with the game to keep it modern.)

Appearance: (At least one good paragraph please. Explain not only their look, but their style as well. Try not to describe your character by saying that they have the most amazing eyes, flawless skin, perfect teeth - It begins to sound like a Mary-Sue. Please also be sure that you include the name of the celebrity that you intend to use in brackets, so that we may add them to the taken celebrities list.)

Personality: (At least one good paragraph please. Keep in mind that nobody is perfect. Character flaws make for interesting Characters. Those who try to create a 'Mary-Sue' will have their character rejected.)

Family: (Who are the immediate family members? how old are they, what do they do etc)

History: (At least THREE good paragraphs please. What have they been doing until now?)

Neighborhood: (Neighborhoods are to be decided by the moderators. You may include a description of your house here. You may suggest several suitable locations, but we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the house of your choice.)

Job: (There are a number of places to work at in Ridgefield. You may choose a job at one of these places, but it needs to be approved by a moderator. We obviously can't have 30 people working at the CD store.)

Vehicle: (Rather self explanatory, keep in mind however, if you aren't extremely rich, you are hardly going to be driving a Porsche. They are students, and though this is a game please try and be realistic in your choice of car. We will check current prices of cars to ensure that your choice is affordable. We advise you do not try to submit a 'concept car')

Best Friend(s): (Include enemies if applicable - As said in the rules, please consult the players of other characters before adding them as friends. You should never assume that your character is friends with another, even if they are both lifers and work in the same place. Please do not try to create a character with the intention of making them friends with a certain character in the game, unless you have prearranged this with the player of said character.)

Dating Status: (Past & Present if applicable)

Social Status: (Semi Popular, Middle, Geek, Drama Club - Middle etc. Feel free to expand on this field. Anyone who places the words; Popular & Rich will see their character automatically rejected. It's fine to have a character come from some money, but please read the Socialite How-To page first. Popularity is something that is earned through game-play - it all depends on who the character develops friendships with. The Moderators & Owners will make changes to this section as its needed. There should be no characters labelled as new.)

Class Schedule:
(The Class Schedule should be made using the current Schedule on the Richmond Site. Classes will not be added just to suit one character. We will modify the schedule as is necessary for the game.)

2nd Period-
3rd Period-
Morning Break
4th Period-
5th Period-

We will modify the list as is necessary for the game. Please be sure to read up on the clubs before adding your character to them as some sports are no longer accepting names.)

Other Information: (Any other relevant information. Any allergies etc. Please be aware that this should not be a section to tack on important information. An illness such as diabetes that has a daily impact on a characters life should perhaps be explored through the characters history.)

Likes: (Try to add as much detail as you can to this area. It helps us to better understand what motivates your characters and gives us insight into their personality. A characters likes and dislikes are what makes them unique.)

(Try to add as much detail as you can to this area. It helps us to better understand what motivates your characters and gives us insight into their personality. A characters likes and dislikes are what makes them unique.)
