Nickname(s):
Tweedle Twin, T-Dee, Tweedle Dee
Age:
17
Grade:
Senior
Birthday:
June 16th
Appearance:
Damien looks like your average typical teen. He has dirty blond
greasy hair, blue green eyes and stubble from not having shaved
enough. He has quite a cheeky look to him, and a smirk that always
makes you wonder what he is conspiring. He's quite good looking, and
knows it but only flaunts it to get laughs. He has a rounded face
and a 'butt chin' when he smiles, but also a cute dimple in his left
cheek. Though he cares about his appearance, he doesn't go extremely
out of his way to look good by using products for hair or skin care.
He
has a well-toned body with visible muscles in his upper arms and
legs from years of dancing and training since he was a young boy. As
far as his clothes go he has a shaggy skater look with baggy jeans
that are far to low on his waist, baggy T-Shirts, brightly coloured
boxers that are visible when he moves around and sneakers. He's not
they type of person to go out shopping, so his clothes are usually
in tatters, or beyond repair by the time he throws them out. He can
dress up, and go clean-shaven but he doesn't all the time due to
basic laziness.
Personality:
As a child Damien got picked on and teased a lot as he took ballet
lessons since his mother taught it. To deal with this he started
making jokes, putting on mock funny dances for the other kids so
they were laughing at him because he was funny, not because of his
interests. When he met Ezra he found that he was a funny person,
always the centre of attention and he like that in him and began to
take after him.
Damien is a comedian, he loves to be the centre of attention and
isn't afraid to make a full of himself in the process. It could be
said he has no self-esteem, that he makes a fool of himself to boost
his on confidence. But he's always been a confident person, happy to
meet new people, and try new things (like dancing). A complete
extrovert he loves to talk to people, and talk in general just so he
can make other people smile. He likes to make other people happy, as
he likes to see other people happy.
He's
a very friendly, open honest person, or it least he tries to be.
He's the type of person that is happy to hear your problems, and
help you sort them out. He's always putting other peoples needs
before his which at times can make him feel quite crumby. But that's
the sort of feeling he tries to ignore, and the type of feeling that
Diane has been trying to get him to admit he has. He's very loving,
very sensitive and very responsible. While others try and hide that
with a rebellious streak, Damien does it with laughter.
Family:
Damien is the eldest child of Sherri Lowe and Peter Devon a working
couple born and raised in Michigan. Sherri is a dance teacher, while
Peter is a businessman that used to work for Groening, Kenton &
Associates before the family moved. The couple also have a
15-year-old son Austin, and 10-year-old daughter Laura who was born
deaf.
His
family has been close to the Carr family since he was six, and he
thinks of them as his second family. He is very close to Diane, and
thinks of her as his second mother, or as he likes to call her his
'fairy god mother'.
History:
Damien's parents have always been a bit of an odd couple. The two
met after a ballet recital; Sherri was dancing it and Peter was
there to watch his sister dance. Peter mistook her for someone and
went over to her pinching her butt and was shocked when he learnt it
was the wrong person. After bumping into each other a few more times
Peter got up the courage to ask her out. The two dated for four
years before he asked her to marry him. Their engagement was a long
one, as Peter went to University in Boston. Sherri found she was
pregnant near to his graduation and the two married when Sherri was
five months pregnant.
They
settled in Washington DC with Sherri joining a dance academy as a
soloist, while Peter started at the bottom of the rung in a large
business firm. After six years of working for the same company,
Peter had worked himself a name and the family felt confident
enough, and that it was time to move. The family moved to
Ridgefield, as Sherri and Peter wanted their children to grow up in
the same state they grew up in.
Peter got a job at Groening, Kenton & Associates and when some of
his old friends found out they put him in touch with Michael Carr
who also worked there and went to the same University. No one had
any idea how good the two families would get along. Almost
immediately Damien became best friends with Ezra, one of the Carr
families children. The two were goof balls, always trying to get
people to laugh and out do each other in being the centre of
attention.
For
years their friendship blossomed, and they seemed to live in each
others homes, went camping together almost as they were one family.
But a stop was put to this when Peter was offered a job in Berkley,
Michigan that he couldn't turn down. The whole family uprooted, and
moved there and Damien hated it. He found it hard settling into a
new school, trying to make new friends. The rest of the family were
doing well though. His father had settled into his new job, his
mother and one of her hold friends started a dancing school and his
younger siblings had made friends with some neighbours.
But
almost two months after moving, Damien's parents told him that Ezra
was very ill in hospital. Both Sherri and Peter knew Damien would
want to be with his friend and were more then happy for him to go
down Richmond to be with him, and help out. For the first two weeks
he was there, he rarely left Ezra's side while he was on life
support and a ventilator. It was quite hard for him, seeing his
friend so helpless; but he knew he was there to help.
For
two months Damien was there with the Carr's helping them around the
house so they could spend more time with Ezra at the hospital. After
a year Ezra was more or less better, still needing rehab but back
home and back to his normal self. But Damien was still there, he'd
just never gotten around moving back home. An unofficial
understanding was made between the two families that Damien stay
where it was better for everyone, and that was with the Carrs. It
meant he was at school, with his friends and not at a new school
struggling to make new ones and also that he could help Ezra with
his rehab, and the family in general.
He's
always been very close with the Carr's and it's often joked that
he's their 'unofficial son'. Damien even calls Diane Carr, his fairy
godmother, as he feels closer to her then his own mother in some
ways. It is also hard in some ways also as he's not there for his
younger sister who is deaf, and Delta has recently gotten a crush on
him, and at times follows him like a lost puppy. But he takes the
good with the bad, and wouldn't change them for anything. He has
though noticed that Michael has been rather hard of Ezra, and he's
been caught in the middle trying to play peace maker between the
two.
Neighborhood:
Damien lives with the Carr family in Ridgefield while his family
live Berkley Michigan (just northwest of Detroit). He lives with
Diana and Michael Carr, their children Delta, Nike and Ezra (who is
his best friend). The house is a new looking brick house with large
elegant windows at the front. The main level has double garage,
laundry, dining room and guest room with ensuite. The second level
has master bedroom with ensuite, two single bedrooms for each Delta
and Nike and bathroom which they share. The basement of the house
was converted into a bedroom over two years ago, which is where Ezra
and Damien live, though they have to use the guest bathroom.
Job:
Gloria Jeans
Vehicle:
Red 1999 Honda Accord, that he co owns with his friend Ezra. They
both paid ¼ of the price each, and their parents paid the other ¼.
Best
Friend(s):
Ezra Carr, the two have been best friends for as long as they can
remember.
Dating Status:
Currently Single
Social Status:
Damien is just a big clown and doesn't have any one group he fits
into. He's happy to talk to anyone, joke with anyone as long as he
gets to have fun and be the centre of attention. He's popular in the
sense he's known by most as a clown and one of the Tweedle Twins,
but unpopular as he belongs to no one group.

Likes:
With his mother having been a dance teacher, he got free lessons
from her as a child but it wasn't a phase he grew out of. He
generally liked dancing (more Jazz and Tap then anything else) in
all its artistic forms. He wanted to be a great dancer like Fred
Astaire when he was older. For that reason he loves all forms of
dance and artistic movement, and adores Fred Astaire and Ginger
Rogers movies. He loves the Carr family, thinking of them as an
extension of his own family, especially Diane who he calls his fairy
godmother. She's much more open then his own mother, so he finds it
easier to talk to her. Like Ezra, Damien loves to be the centre of
attention and isn't afraid of making a fool of himself to be one.
Dislikes:
Damien's younger sister Laura was born deaf as their mother had
Glandular Fever when she was pregnant with her. He's always been
very close to her and even though he loves the Carr family, he hates
that he's away from her. He thinks of the Carr family as his second
family, and lately 16-year-old Delta has taken a liking to him. He
thinks its cute, and just brushes it off, but also finds it
extremely annoying at times as she spies on him.
Damien has been dancing since he was four years old, and got teased
when he was younger because of it. It's part of the reason why he's
such a funny guy today, as he had to make jokes about being teased
and dancing so he didn't feel so bad. Though he doesn't dance as
much he still gets the rare joke about it from a jock. He hates, it
but just brushes it off and uses it to make others laugh.

"You haven't seen me dance until you have seen me dance in a tutu… A
blue tutu, so it matches the blue from my eyes."
