Daniel Christopher Dillon
-Available By Sample Post
Only- Nickname(s):
Dix, Freight Train, D
Age: 18
Grade: Senior
Birthday: July 4th
Appearance: Danny stands at 6'1,
200 pounds. He has a very muscular build from his athletic
background. He has a chiseled face with a two dimples accentuating
his light green eyes. His hair is dark brown, appearing black when
it's wet or gelled and, cut short, sometimes with blonde
frosting on the tips. He sports a diamond stud earring in his
left ear or sometimes a platinum hoop.
In terms of style, Danny can usually be found in a pair of Black Doc Martens and
Carpenter Jeans with a black leather jacket and
GAP sweater in the fall and winter months. When going out clubbing
or partying he opts for his black wool pants and black leather
shoes, and white or black pullover. He doesn't lean too far away
from his black and white outfits except when playing sports or just
hanging out.
During the summer he opts mainly for short sleeve
pullovers with cargo shorts and Doc Marten sandals. He is always
seen with his earring in, Platinum Chain around his neck, and
platinum bracelet on his arm. You'll never see Danny in Gold for he
hates it with a passion.
Personality: Though he could be
easily categorized as a jock, loving sports and playing as much as
he can, Danny, for want of better words
is a quiet guy, until you either A. get to know him, or B. Cross
him. He's probably best described as one of the more laid
back, calm, and collected kind of people that just seems to be taking days one by one.
He doesn't shoot his mouth off for the sake of hearing the sound of
his own voice and as his friends will tell you, he's a fierce friend
that will do anything and everything to protect the people that he
cares about the most.
That's not to say that Danny is a saint by any
means. He knows how to have fun and is well known around Richmond
High for the parties that he throws. He has no problems drinking to
get drunk and though casual sex may not be his main focus in life,
he certainly isn't opposed to it either. He's a bit of an open flirt
which has gotten him into trouble from time to time, especially when
the girl he has been flirting with happens to have a boyfriend or
gets the wrong impression from him.
Though he might try to be understanding Danny can hold a grudge
longer than most people you might meet and once you find yourself on
his 'most hated' list you aren't likely to get off of it any time
soon (if ever). There have been a lot of people in his life that
have tried to take his loyalty for granted and have in turn felt
what it feels like to be on the wrong side of his sometimes fiery
temper (or fist as the case may be).
This of course brings us to Danny's temper. It's not easy to get a
rise out of him but if you push Danny far enough he tends to react
without thinking. In the defense of a friend he will often go too
far and if you try talking trash about any of the women in his life
(be it his mother or best friend) then expect to be in for a world
of hurt. He has often had to rely on those very women to pull him
back into line and it's not until the aftermath that Danny can ever
consider he has gone too far.
When it comes to his feelings, Danny is very reserved. Even those
that he considers to be his best friends know very little about what
is going on in that head of his when he is off brooding in a corner.
If they tried to inquire however, his face will change and it will
be as though nothing has ever been wrong. He doesn't take chances
when he knows he should and as a result, he usually ends up sitting
on the sidelines (especially when we are talking about romantic
endeavors) while somebody else is getting the glory.
Family: Danny lives with his Mom
and Dad. His Mom is the classic housewife, and school volunteer. She
always works the concession stand, or is raising money for the
school boosters. His Dad is a Marine Corp. Colonel turned recruiter
after the Second Gulf War. He was wounded and sports a 6 inch metal
pin in his right leg, preventing combat duty. His Dad Billy works in
the local recruiting office.

History: Born in Southern
California he is the only son of a Marine Corp. Colonel. He never
had the chance to settle down in one community as he was always
moving. He has school records spread all across the country. He
started Kindergarten in Germany where he had to learn about the German
language and culture, growing to love the time he spent here as the
years went by.
He was
getting ready to start 3rd grade there until his father came to him
and told him that he was being deployed to France, Danny wasn't
happy with the situation, wondering why he had to leave his friends
and move some where else. His father would tell him it was his job
and he had to follow the rules. Complaining was something Danny
was allowed to do, he just had to pack up and leave everything
behind.
As a still young child, an entirely new country had it's own appeal
and Danny was quick to set about making friends on the American Base
where his father was stationed. They were to spend a total of three
years in France before, just as Danny was starting to feel as though
he had made himself a home, his father sat him down for a
conversation he'd already had once before. Sighing heavily and being burnt with all
the moving, Danny just packed his bags without so much as a groan
and the three Dixon's now made their way to England.
Though there may have been a lot of other military brats for Danny
to make friends with, he found that it was hard to forge any lasting
relationships. He just couldn't go around making close friends
then have to up and leave them. He struggled the entire time that he
lived in England, missing The US, missing having a family that
extended beyond his Mom and Dad. Most of the kids on the base had
siblings to keep them company and seeing as he was heading for being
a teenager, he couldn't see that the birth of a brother or sister
now would make any real difference to him.
It was just before Danny started the eighth grade that
Danny and his family moved back to the United States when his father
was stationed in Texas. Excited to be somewhere he could actually
speak the native tongue and sound similar to everyone that lived
here, Danny seemed to thrive. He was able to learn the American sports and
going to school there was when he grew his love for football.
There was still to be a lot of moving in his future with the Dixon's
going from
Texas to Chicago and then back to Southern California where
he started his high school years. He was pretty much happy for the
first time in his life, back in a place that he had always thought
of as home. He had dreams that he could actually make friends and
that his family would get to be a real family again.
This dream was once again short-lived when his father was called up
for active service. Starting
school in California and his father going to war, Danny's mind
wasn't completely on his books.
He was found it hard to sleep and was always up late at night and
his mother, though she tried to be strong for the both of them would
jump every time the phone rang or when there was a knock on the
door. They ate their dinner in silence while they watched the battle
play out on their television screens. Though Danny's father did his
best to stay in touch with them, there were times when he would be
out of range and Danny would often hear his mother crying herself to
sleep.
During the winter of his 10th grade year of school that Danny and
his mother received news of a car bomb exploding near where his
father was heading up a patrol. Their hearts in their mouths, they
feared the worst but were beyond relieved to hear that though there
was some fear for infection, he had merely been wounded and was
being sent home, discharged from active duty, at least for the time
being.
Danny was given bad news
about his father from his mother. She told him that his father was
wounded in combat and was being sent home. The knew was devastating,
but Danny was able to cope with it. It was better than hearing that
his father was killed. His father was hurt in combat and was now
wearing a 6 in metal pin in his right leg which keeps him from doing
combat work in the army.
With that information, Danny and his parents were told of a
recruiting job in Ridgefield, Michigan. After a relatively short
recovery period, his father took the job and they packed their bags
for what Danny hoped would be the last time, and moved to Ridgefield in a nice size
home for the three of them. His father had a job that required
little to no travelling and Danny was able to make friends and not
worry about leaving them.
He was a Sophomore when he started at Richmond and found that it was
much easier to make friends here than he had at other schools.
Puberty was enabling him to fill out and a lot of time at the gym,
lifting weights and what have you meant that Danny was quick, not
only to be noticed by the girls of Richmond, but the Coaches of
numerous sports. Though he tried his hand at a number of them, the
one he focused on was Football and though he was too new to wind up
as the Quarterback right off the bet, the put him in the squad and
Danny met his first, true best friend, Casper Connors.
In spite of a number of differences, they seemed to have a lot in
common and Casper and Danny were quick to become good friends.
Casper introduced Danny to a lot of the people he knew and
popularity it seemed would follow quickly. Danny developed a mild
flirtation with one of Casper's friends Michelle and though it too a
long time for anything to actually develop between the two, every
saw it happening before these two could.
The Summer between Sophomore and Junior Year saw Danny, Cas &
Michelle spending a lot of time together. The mild flirtation would
heat up to become making out at parties and though Danny worried
what Casper might think, it was hard to really hide what was going
on from his best friend. Still, the three seemed to be content with
the situation, Casper was known to play the field and Danny, well
happy not to have to worry about such things.
It was the first day of Junior year that would see their threesome
become a four. Danny and Michelle weren't exactly dating at this
stage and he felt he was therefore free to be eyeing of a cute
brunette that walked into their Drama class. Much to the annoyance
of a nearby Michelle, both he and Casper discussed how they should
'volunteer to show her around'. It was Casper however that beat him
to the punch and Michelle that basically laid an ultimatum on Danny.
Either get his act together and they start dating or say goodbye to
party hook-ups.
Though you couldn't say that Danny was all that keen to settle down,
he could see that maybe Cas and the new girl, known to them as
Charlie might actually end up having something and for the first
time, Danny might actually get to try out the whole idea of having a
girlfriend. It may not have been the most romantic way for two
people to get together but it was pretty much what anyone who knew
Danny and Michelle might expect.
So it was that they became a couple, Casper and Charlie quickly
following suit. Danny and Charlie in turn developed a friendship on
their own and when the respective couples weren't together, it was
usually Danny & Charlie hanging out while Michelle and Casper did
the same. Life wasn't always roses for the couples but in Danny's
mind, having a girlfriend wasn't nearly as bad as some people
(Casper being one of them) had told him it would be.
It was a number of months that Danny started to
sense that something was wrong. Michelle would often bitch about
Charlie and say that she was completely wrong for Casper. Danny
would in turn defend her and try to get her to see things
differently but eventually, Danny had to come to the conclusion that
though Michelle might have been smitten, it certainly wasn't with
him.
Strongly believing that Michelle had feelings for his best friend
Casper, Danny ended things between them, not hiding his reasons for
doing so. His break up caused some tension between him and Casper
and in turn, Casper and Charlie but it all came to a head when at
the end of Junior Year, they discovered that not only were Danny's
suspicions true, but that Michelle and Casper had cheated on both
him and Charlie.
Danny knew that he had to be strong for Charlie, which he found
himself doing all summer long. Despite the fact that he and Casper
had been the best of friends, Danny wiped him from that day and has
never since spoken a word to him. There have been several occasions
when Casper has tried to see Charlie that he has wanted to smack the
crap out of him but Charlie being there to calm him down, he would
turn his back and walk away.
While helping Charlie get over the hurt of Casper, Danny began to
let his feelings get involved and now finds himself walking
around with one big crush on his best friend. He never wanted to
tell her for fear that he might ruin their friendship, but when he
heard that she was 'seeing' resident playboy Wes Jaxon? If there as
one guy that was worse for Charlie than Casper, it had to be him.
In the space of three weeks, Danny had blurted out his feelings for
Charlie, wound up in a huge fight with Wes and very nearly lost his
best friend for good. Though she seems to have forgiven him for what
went down with Wes, their relationship isn't the same as what it
used to be. He would do anything to take back those words but the
kiss they shared? Well maybe it's all in his head but she did kiss
him back, that much he is sure of. Still. Danny would rather have
Charlie as a friend than not have her at all, even if that does mean
watching her with some jerk like Wes. Just don't expect him to
promise to be happy about it.
