Haley Imogene Emerson
-Played By Lost_Altogether-
Nickname(s): Hales
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Birthday: May 15
Appearance: Standing roughly
at about 5'1, Haley is a pretty small girl and would easily
get lost in a crowd if it wasn't for her smile, which brightens
up any room. Her autumn locks of hair stops at her shoulders
and has a tendency to curl out toward the end. On rare occasions,
she would use a three inch curling iron to change her plain
straight hair into locks of curls or waves. Haley usually gets
her hair cut every three months preferring her hair being short
rather than long. Haley is rather pale, but with her mysterious
eyes that has a certain sparkle to it, Haley is anything but
an ugly duckling.
Her mother use to tease her saying if a guy was to look at her,
she would be able put a spell on them. However, Haley doesn't
see the beauty her mother sees in her. She rarely applies any
excess makeup onto her face. When she does, it's a light color
foundation and lip gloss. Haley is usually found wearing a red,
red being her favorite color, or black fitted top with dark
denim jeans or black capri with her hair left down neatly combed.
She likes her clothes to be comfortable rather than expensive.
At home, she's usually throws on a pair of old sweats that drags
across the floor and one of her brother's football jersey or
a flannel that usually stops at her knees.
Personality: Though Haley grew up
in the rich side of Ridgefield, she tries to stay as grounded
as possible. Not wanting to take what she has forgranted.
She's soft spoken- not in a quiet sense where she doesn't talk. But Haley rarely
raises her voice. She prefers to help others
and usually put others before herself. However, Haley rarely
trust anyone, thanks to past experiences. When Haley gets nervous
she has a tendency to ramble on about nonsense. She usually
does this unknowingly and becomes easily embarrassed soon after.
Haley's not the average teenage girl. She would painting a picture on her canvas
over a party on any given day. She doesn't even
mind that she only has a small group of friends and does not
hang out with the "in crowd."
Classified as an art geek, Haley doesn't mind, instead, she shrugs
it off. She is the creative type and loves anything association
with art. At school, she's usually found sketching in her sketchbook
or just doing random doodling in her notebook. At home, she's
usually in the backyard studio painting away.
Family: Haley is the only daughter
and the youngest child of James Emerson, a respected politcal
leader in the city of Ridgefield and Caroline, owner
of Belvidere Florist & Gift Shop. Although both James and
Hannah are members of the Greenbrook Club and Ridgefield's finest,
thanks to James's life as a political leader. While James is not
very fond of the country club, that's not the case for Caroline.
She's heavily involved in all events, galas, and socials that has to do
with the club. She's usually there from mid-afternoon to mid-evening.
Haley's older brother Harrison is 19 and attending
Ridgefield University even though he swore he would get out
of Ridgefield once he was out of high school. When Harrison
attended high school, he was the complete opposite of Haley.
He was part of the "in crowd" and would usually hang
out at all the popular hangouts. Harrison was a great athlete
in sports such as football, snowboarding, and sailing. He's
the typical, overprotective brother who plans to hurt anyone
who messes with Haley. On the weekend, he tries to teach Haley
the ropes of sailing, but she's not very well at it..
Although Haley's family seem to be perfect, it wasn't all that
perfect ten years ago. At the age of 6, her parents were on
the edge of a divorce, thanks to a scandal that nearly destroyed
tore her family into two. A lady had claimed that Haley's father
had an affair with her early in his career, that they were married,
and that they shared a child together. The allegations and the
story became front-page news, ripping her family apart. After
the story was printed in the newspaper, Haley witness constant
arguments and fights between her parents. It got to the point
where Haley's mom took Harrison and Haley to their grandmother's
to live, away from the media and away from the scandal. However,
after a few months, it was discovered that this was not the
first time she had accused a city political of having an affair
with her. But that was in the past and Haley and her family
are working to keep their family together.

History: Haley was born in Ridgefield
and has lived in Ridgefield all her life. At a young age, Haley
found a love for art. She was told that she use to run around
the house scribbling on the walls with crayons and would draw
on anything she could get a hold of. Her parents decided to
let Haley explore her interest in art. While most kids were
given Barbies and Easy-Baked Ovens for Christmas and birthday's,
Haley was given art supplies: crayons, sketchbooks, color pencils,
etc.. She didn't mind at all, instead she believe her was the
best present of all. All of Haley's art work that was done on
paper are either hanging around the house or kept neatly tucked
away
Although the Emerson family was pretty rich, because of Haley's
grandfather and father, Haley's parents refused to let Haley
and Harrison become spoiled rich kids. However, they did not
limit Haley and Harrison interest and let them explore and do
anything they wanted to, hobby wise that is. Because of Haley's
interest of art, she was different from most of the kids. Which
lead to her being excluded from most of the playtime activities.
It didn't break Haley's spirit though, she knew that her love
in art would play a major factor in her making friends. Luckily,
in the second grade she met Rachel and they became instant friends.
Rachel refused to judge Haley like the rest of the kids have
done and offered to be Haley's buddy when the school went on
a field trip to the aquarium. They've been best friend since
that day and has let nothing come between them, not even high
school.
Throughout middle school and high school, Haley concentrated
on her school work and art work, knowing that she would never
be able to compete with Harrison when it came to sports and
popularity, however it didn't really matter to her. She tried
to stay clear of the "in crowd" and boys. When ask
out on a date by boys, Haley would usually come up with an excuse
or tell them she wasn't allow to date. Her brother, knowing
how Haley was, would usually come to her defense if a boy refused
to leave Haley alone even after she had said no. Haley was able
to stay clear of dating boys until the end of her sophomore
year.
Haley was running late to one of her classes, for whatever reason,
Harrison had decided to ditch her and she had woken up late.
Haley was running down the hall, not looking where she was headed
when she ran into a figure. Haley fell and landed a few feet
away. Still in a hurry, Haley tried to quickly grabbed her things
and make a dash for it, until the boy spoke up and she had him
got into this whole arguement. Haley didn't have the time to
argue with him and made a dash for class. At lunch, she met
the boy who introduced himself as Trevor, she quickly apologized
and walked off, she believed that would be the last time she
would see him. However, she was wrong.
Trevor was intrigued by Haley, something about her screamed
different and he liked that. He was persistent
and finally Haley gave in believing he would leave her alone
if she said yes. She didn't know how or why, but somehow she
found herself attracted to Trevor. Soon after, Trevor and Haley
became one of the "it" couples school.
Haley was thrown into the in crowd reluctantly and thanks to
her relationship with Trevor, people knew who she was, even
though she didn't really enjoy it. On the other, her relationship
with him was great. They were almost the perfect couple. For
whatever reason, Haley allowed herself to be vulnerable and
allowed herself to feel "love" by someone that wasn't
her family. However, the weekend after school ended, Haley had
wanted to attend an art exhibit and Trevor insist he would go
with her, even though they both knew there was a major party
being held for the beginning of summer. Haley waited hours for
Trevor and when he didn't show, she got worried and headed home.
She didn't want to believe it and was reluctant to go at first,
but Rachel convince her to go to the party. When Haley walked
into the house, everyone was shocked to see her there, she didn't
understand why until she walked into the living room.
