Appearance: With a slender, somewhat athletic build, Lara will often appear taller than she stands (at a rather humble 5ft6). She carries herself with her head held high and despises those that slouch or shove their hands in their pockets. Her nails are always perfectly manicured and though she does wear make up she will not pile it on like a Chesterdale Hooker. She believes make-up should be worn to enhance somebodies looks, not to cover up what is naturally hideous.

One thing you can say about Lara is that her appearance is always polished. She has a pale complexion, which is complemented by her naturally long dark chestnut brown straight hair which can change in color depending on her mood (sometimes lighter) though is generally kept styled and falling down just past her shoulders. She usually wears her hair up and one could accurately assume that some serious time is spent in front of the mirror every morning.

Every outfit is carefully put together, and at any given time the girl is wearing about $1000 plus in clothing and accessories (not including her jewellery). Lara likes things to match and though she may own platinum and white gold jewellery she has a weakness for gold and diamonds and a father who will gladly buy his daughters affections. She'll never wear the same outfit twice to a party, and beware anyone who might actually own the same outfit as her. Lara's the sort that would 'accidentally' spill punch down the 'offenders' dress.

Personality: Manipulative, intelligent, conniving, wealthy. All the ingredients for a girl who has to get what she wants, and has the means to do it. Lara looks upon most of her 'friends' as associates. As long as she feels she can get something from them, then she is happy to have them around. Those that she permits in her inner circle (Commonly known as the 'Fab Four) are really the only people that she has any trust in. Mind you, if her best friend crossed her, she'd take them down. It's not wise to mess with Lara, or even dare to disagree with her.

She is the embodiment of don't get mad get even. Rarely foolish enough to react on emotion (Though it happens from time to time), she keeps her head about her, and then when the perfect opportunity arises she will make her move. Usually smart enough to not become a pawn in somebody else's game, Lara is happy to let another person think they have gotten one up on her but will pounce when they least expect it.

Lara is heavily involved with school activities, and in the eyes of the school board, she is a model student. She's not the type to pick on somebody just because they are deemed as unpopular. Lara will only bite if you try to cross her, or dare to say something she may not like (Especially if it's about her, or her friends). She has little patience for anybody who sulks or whines, and will have no problem telling them to 'snap out of it or else'. Some people have taken it upon themselves to try and get smart with Lara without even knowing her. This is when you will see the similarities between her and her brother as Lara has a quick mind and sharp tongue that can and will put somebody back in their place.

You will often find Lara quietly observing those around her, and it would be easy to be drawn into her demeanour as you ask yourself, “What goes on in that mind of hers?” Mostly, she is sizing people up. She can’t help it really, as it is something she has always done, and always been taught to do. Lara will not argue a point unless she knows that she is right, and she has this way of twisting things around so that she wins, and people don’t even seem to realize that she has done it.

Though she may not go out of her way to pick on people, she won't go out of her way to befriend them either. People have often tried to move into her inner circle and Lara, though polite has been known to tell her friends that she doesn't have time for others in her life. She has all that she needs and unless she can see that you possess qualities she deems to be useful, why would she want to have anything to do with you?

Her weakness is that she needs to understand a persons motivation, no matter how ridiculous it might be. Though she may have a knack for summing people up in a short space of time, she's more likely to try and get to know somebody that she can't quite put her finger on. The interaction is likely to be fleeting, Lara moving on once she has what she wants but the interaction itself has always been something even some of her friends have found puzzling.

Some see her as an elitist bitch, others as a big fish in a small pond and others are as intrigued by her as she can sometimes be by them. There will be those that are in awe of her but that's not what motivates Lara Moss. What does? Well that has been the question on everyone's lips for quite some time and is likely to plague people for years to come.

Family: Lara’s parent’s a very well to do; her Father is an Investment Banker, and her mother a Clinical Psychologist who is a named partner in a Private Practice here in Ridgefield. She has one brother, Jacob, who was going to attend a private school until he convinced his parents to allow him to repeat his Senior Year at Richmond. Jacob was, and still is very much the male equivalent of Lara though at the same time, couldn't be more different if he tried. If anyone could actually be the undoing of Lara Moss, it would likely be her brother Jacob.

History: Lara has attended Richmond High School, all through her school years, much to her parent’s disgust, but Lara outright refused to attend the nearby private school. She has spent the last summer studying in Firenze (Florence, Italy), along with her brother Jacob and her parents. To most this might sound like the opportunity of a lifetime but for the children of Joanne & Lucas Moss it was very much a part of life.

.Growing up Lara never actually knew what it was to want for anything. If she wanted a pony then she got it. If she wanted to take ballet, play tennis, spend her birthday in New York, then Lara got it. She would be easy to pin as a spoiled little brat but with a mother like Joanne Moss there is a lot that you can learn. It seemed in ways that Jacob & Lara's childhood was like some study group for her work, Joanne watching and manipulating her children to see how they would react.

You would never go so far to say that she had an unhappy childhood, more of an unusual one. Whenever she was told not to do something her mother would then sit her down and explain to her why. Not a simple, don't do that because it's bad for you, but explain what the impacts are and what the best solution is for her to get it next time. She was almost being moulded into the 'perfect' person, but such lessons can in ways do damage to a person. Lara has been taught to be unfeeling, fearless and most of all ruthless. There is no such thing as second best in her family.

Lara’s junior year was all about getting to the top. She’d been neck and neck with another girl, who was perhaps equally lucky in position when it came to money, and equally conniving when it came to getting her own way. For years Lara just sat back and waited for her to make a mistake, and when she finally did, Lara swooped, claiming a title she believed she had earned. Which in many ways she had. She’d always kept excellent grades, worked hard, and had been careful in everything that she did. Some people may not like Lara, but most of them really are jealous. She’s too smart to give anyone reason to truly despise her.

Last year really had been a test for her though, with the death of one of her close friends, Sandra. For a time she felt herself start to lose control, letting people get under her skin when she knew better than to allow that to happen. She managed to keep it together though, mostly by pushing her emotions to one side, and the trip to Italy was the best thing that could have happened. She has come back cool, calm, collected, and very much in control.

Before school even started things became interesting for Lara, her friendship with Adam Stuart becoming something more after a scheme to land Adam in Richmond High uncovered feelings that neither realized (or would admit) existed. Adam being best friends with her brother Jacob didn't help matters much. Lara and Jacob don't talk all that much, and she was aware that her relationship with Adam was taking it's toll on Adam & Jacob's friendship. When Lara found out that Sloan, one of her best friends was messing around behind her back with Jacob, she wiped Sloan, and is furious with Jacob, whom she believed went after Sloan just to spite her.

Though Lara may not have been aware of it, Jacob has been doing his best to find ways to break her and Adam up though at the end of the day it was Adam that finally pushed Lara too far. If it wasn't bad enough that she had to go to Detroit to bail him out after being arrested during a drunken weekend with friends, he showed up without telling her to the school ski trip to Canada over New Years. He didn't even try to explain himself (as he was supposedly in DC with his parents) and Lara realized that she had to put an end to the relationship or risk Adam doing something to tarnish her reputation.

Neighborhood: Laurelhurst – You know that house that people drive past merely to admire the architecture, the general size, the private jetty with a yacht that is permanently anchored out in its ‘backyard’? That’s the Moss Residence. Elegance, Luxury and Comfort simply describe this beautiful private Laurelhurst Home. With over 400' of lake frontage, bubbling hot tub with waterfalls, this custom built and custom designed home has all the amenities you need and desire. Granite, cherry wood, marble and a black wedge wood-floating staircase all highlight the interior.

An upper level completely self-contained living quarters can be exited separately from the main entrance, as well as a detached 3000 sq ft guest apartment above a 64' x48' garage workshop with heat, air conditioning and 12' ceilings. This home boasts 11,600 sq. ft. of living and storage space with master wing including offices and fireplace, chef’s kitchen with seating and walk-in pantry, stunning dining room, great room with fireplace and spectacular views and separate guest facilities. A six stall drive-thru garage and outbuildings. Pure distinction with state-of-the-art electronics inside and out, including a gated entrance and extensive security system. It’s from living here that Jacob & Lara met their best friend Adam, as he and his father Mayor and mother… Mayor’s Wife, own the large house next door.

Job: None - She has an allowance, and sees no need to actually have a real job. Occasionally her mother will enlist her to volunteer with something the ladies at the club are doing, but most of her time is spent on school committees.

Best Friends: Everyone who’s 'anyone.' - Alexia, Beth, Jacquie, Derek, etc. Her Best Friend, and probably the person that has the best idea who Lara really is, is Adam Stuart (The Mayor's Son). She may still keep secrets from the others, but he is the person who would probably have the closest version of the truth in any circumstance. Since their failed relationship, things between the two have become strained at best. Though she doesn't advertise it, and you may not realize it, Lara also keeps a close eye on Beth. The sweet-natured girl is rather naive, but has a good heart. If you hurt Beth, you're basically waving a red rag at a bull as far as Lara is concerned.

Though once considered a friend, Sloan Michaels is the latest to reach the top of Lara's ten most hated people. Though the girl may no longer live in Ridgefield she continues to be one of the most ridiculed and detested students to have ever walked the halls of Richmond High and Lara takes great pleasure in the fact that people are still writing graffiti about her on toilet walls. Lara isn't the most forgiving of people, and she certainly won't forgive somebody going behind her back with her brother.

Dating Status: Single - Lara was dating Adam Stuart since the end of Summer before Senior Year but a series of misadventures caused her to finally pull the plug on that relationship just after New Years. he was probably the first person she ever dated that she shared an emotional connection with and though her method and reason for their break-up may have seemed cold and clinical, nobody really knows how it made her feel. Dated Callen Mase, and shared a brief interests in Damon & Aaron Johnson, but Lara's a little different than most girls when it comes to dating. Dating has always been more about status to her than about actual emotions. To connect with Lara, you really would need to take her by surprise.

Social Status: Popular – Well that is merely an understatement. Lara’s entire life at Richmond High has been all about making it to the top. She succeeded last year, when she made sure that any threats so to speak were no longer worth even walking all over. There is nobody at Richmond High that threatens her position, and she's almost sure that nobody ever will.

Likes: Shoes. The way your hair looks & smells after having it washed and styled at the hairdressers. A table at Vultures when the weather is fine, allowing her to watch those that pass her by. Being able to walk into DiMarcos or The Luxe without having to wait in line. The sort of things that only money - real money can buy. Anyone can enjoy smoked salmon but truffles? It's not that she loves the taste, it's knowing that what she is putting in her mouth could probably pay somebody's rent.

Dislikes: Moronic people, Cockroaches, girls who don’t know how to apply make-up. People who openly flirt in front of her; especially cutesy, innuendo rubbish. She has no problem with telling people to stop or else however. Chipped nail polish, and people who slack off, especially in cheerleading! People who fall all over her brother. Girls that will fall for the playas of Richmond.

People who think they can use her to boost their own popularity. Please. She had to work for it and so should everyone else. It's not even that she is naive enough to believe that anyone could take her off the top of the Social Ladder, more that Lara doesn't think that anyone had the determination to try. She would almost welcome the challenge of somebody trying to make waves, especially at this point and time in her life but she has yet to come across anyone that truly has the ability.

People who agree with everything that she says. Lara will be the first to say how much she despises those that disagree with her, yet at the same time she has a healthy respect for those that will think for themselves. This is a girl that has often been surrounded by people who will never say a word out of line for fear of retaliation. It's refreshing to meet somebody that won't wait for her to speak before expressing their own opinion on a matter.

Jacob. It's a complicated relationship and though dislike may be a harsh way to describe her feelings for her brother, she finds him to be infuriating. The lived through the same experiences, had the same mother and yet are in so many ways completely different people. He will often do his best to get a rise out of her but Lara has managed to work out where his weaknesses are and if anyone is going to goad her into a vicious remark, it's him.
